I’ve been an XM Radio subscriber for just about 3 ½ years now. Despite having access to over 180 channels, I have generally kept my radio tuned to channel 81. Unfortunately that channels programming has gotten so bad that I have been utilizing my mute button more and more. After reading some posts on a discussion board I learned that I am not alone. Fortunately one of those posts mentioned this free alternative.
After listening to this free alternative for a few days I attempted to cancel my XM Radio subscription. They were not too happy to hear that I wanted to cancel, so they gave me 3 free months to reconsider. The reason I became an XM Radio subscriber in the first place was so that I could be introduced to new music that I would probably have not been exposed to otherwise. It would appear that the roles have now been reversed as they then proceeded to ask me to email them a list of artists and tracks I would like to hear.
I’m sure I will tune into channel 81 every now and then over the course of the next 3 months to see if the programming has improved, but I highly doubt I will reconsider my decision to cancel.Labels: Music |
